Channel 6: 30 Winners at the Colour Olympics in Sliven Region. The Awarding Ceremony – on Saturday.

258 students from four schools in the town of Sliven and one from Nova Zagora have taken part in the first edition of the ‘Colour Olympics’. Today, to summarize the final results and rank the winners, in the hall of Regional Inspectorate of education (RIE) Sliven gathered the directors of the educational institutions.After the ranking, it was announced that 30 students will receive awards for excellent performance.This will happen at a ceremony on Saturday, December 14 , at 6 pm in the Hall of the Scientific and Technical Union (STU).
Yesterday in Sliven finished the first edition of the National Education Initiative ‘Colour Olympics’. 258 students from grades 8 to 12 from Sliven and Nova Zagora participated in the Olympics in Bulgarian Language and Literature, English and German, Mathematics and Informatics.The students who participated in the competition were representatives of the following schools – 11th High School ‘Konstantin Konstantinov’, Vocational School of Electrical Engineering and Electronics’, ‘Marie Curie’, Sliven Vocational School of Construction and Geodesy ‘Arch. Georgi Kozarov’, Vocational School of Mechanization – Sliven, Vocational School of Agriculture – Nova Zagora, Vocational School of Engineering and Technology – Nova Zagora.
Today the directors of the five schools and Albena Doichinova from the National Movement ‘Bulgaria is You1’, the organizer of the initiative, gathered to summarize the results and to rank the top 30 who have gathered the most points. The winners will be awarded at a ceremony on Saturday, December 14, 6 pm in the Hall of STU. The Director of the History Museum in Sliven Nikolay Sirakov, representatives of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the hip-hop performer Bobo will participate in the ceremony on Saturday. The doors of the Hall are open to all who wish to attend this celebration of knowledge and share their satisfaction with the excellent performance of the students from Sliven and Nova Zagora.
