SLIVEN LIVE: Students from Sliven Took Part in the ‘Colour Olympics’

The Awarding Ceremony for the Winners is Tonight!

Students from Sliven District have taken part in the National Education Initiative ‘Colour Olympics’. The children competed in Bulgarian Language and Literature, English and German, Maths and Information Technology. The event was organized by the National Movement ‘Bulgaria is You!’.

The competition was held in the following schools – 11th High School ‘Konstantin Konstantinov’, Vocational School of Electrical Engineering and Electronics’, ‘Marie Curie’, Sliven Vocational School of Construction and Geodesy ‘Arch. Georgi Kozarov’, Vocational School of Mechanization – Sliven, Vocational School of Agriculture – Nova Zagora, Vocational School of Engineering and Technology – Nova Zagora. The competitors were students from grades 8 to 12 and they all participated voluntarily.

After the end of the successful initiative regional winners were appointed.

The winners will be awarded at a special ceremony by renowned and leading personalities in different spheres of public life. The ceremony will take place tonight at 6 pm in the Hall of the Scientific and Technical Union (STU) in the town of Sliven. At the end of the school year 2013 – 2014 the winners will participate in the National competition over the Internet between the leaders from all the cities
